Senior Portrait Photography In Westerville For Olivia, Class of 2013

Have I mentioned lately how much I love high school senior portrait season? It is so fun to create portraits for my amazing high school clients from all over Columbus!

We had a blast at a last minute session the other week in Westerville. Stacy contacted me about photographing her daughter, Olivia, who is a 2013 Senior at Westerville North. After a few emails back and forth earlier in the week, we decided that with no school that Friday, I could squeeze her in the same week.I am glad everyone’s calendar was clear for Friday, we could not have asked for a better day for the photos.

I chuckled when Olivia filled out her questionnaire that I ask all of my seniors to complete prior to their photographs. When asked to describe her personality and if she was comfortable in front of the camera, her response was that she is “Quiet and funny. I do not like to be photographed”. She may be the most honest senior to respond so far! I made sure her photography session was casual and she did not have to worry about anything. I was able to get some genuine laughter out of her, which resulted in some beautiful images.

We split up the session between Uptown Westerville for an urban look and Westerville North High School. She was looking forward to having some portraits done on the softball field with her equipment and jerseys. Olivia is a fantastic softball player and wanted to show off that side of her life in her senior portraits. I think that everyone will agree with me that she is a beautiful young lady and she had nothing to worry about when it was time to be in front of the camera. Here are just a few of my favorite images from her senior portrait session.
