I had the chance to photograph Jen & Jeff the Saturday before Christmas at the Conservatory. Jen contacted me a few weeks ago and asked if I could squeeze them in around the holidays since they would be in Columbus for about a week visiting family. Luckily, I had nothing planned that Saturday and it worked perfectly for everyone’s schedule. Jen had told me that they weren’t able to get engagement photos before their wedding and they weren’t in love with the wedding photos they had done. This was a perfect opportunity for them to get some great images without the pressure of when they were planning a wedding. Here’s just a few images from our outing at Franklin Park Conservatory.

My mom had requested that while I was in Youngstown visiting for Thanksgiving to bring my camera to get some photos of Gunnie. We didn’t have much time, about 30 minutes to squeeze in a quick mini session before heading to my grandparents’ house for Thanksgiving dinner. While I typically don’t photograph indoors for sessions, I did catch a few quick shots before we went outside. Gunnie is a pretty active one-year-old Westie, so I was quite impressed that he decided to chill out on the chair for so I could get a few images in. Here are a couple photos from our quick session. The first one is my favorite and the one my parents will be using on their Christmas card this year.

I got the chance to take Daniel’s senior portraits on Sunday after a long, holiday weekend away. Yet again, there was great weather in Columbus for our session and we missed the rain by a few hours. Daniel is the first guy from Lincoln High School in Gahanna that I’ve photographed for the class of 2010. He’s involved in a ton of activities at school, so it was a bit of work but we finally picked a date and time that fit into his busy senior schedule. We planned to do the session at the Conservatory just in case mother nature didn’t cooperate, minus a little wind and being a bit brisk outside the weather was perfect. Thanks Daniel for letting me create your senior photos!

Daisy is quite the funny little LhasaPoo! When she wasn’t running through Heritage Park in Westerville, she was right by her owner’s side. And just when I would get a shot set-up, Daisy was over it and would walk over to me to get her belly rubbed!! I love some of the actions photos I captured at this session, she without a doubt kept me running through the park that afternoon.
