A few weekends ago I stopped over to visit Gunny and his family. When I decided to start doing pet photography I knew this beautiful Golden Retriever would be one of my first models. When Gunny’s family used to go on vacation I would get the opportunity to watch him. Now, I have my own dog to keep up with, so I no longer get the chance to spend a week at a time with him. As for our session, I think this 12-year-old was more interested in taking a nap rather than getting his photos taken. These are just a few of my favorites from our session.

Back when Claire was the ripe old age of two months I did her first portraits, you can see the blog post here. It’s been almost a year since those adorable photos and we met up again this past Saturday at the Conservatory for some more images. I love this little one’s big eyes! Claire was busy checking out everything at Franklin Park, she definitely kept me on my toes! Here’s 3 of my favorites from our session.

She just loved that fountain! So much that we had to move to a different room!

I think Baxter the cutest dog ever, well, because he’s mine! I realized I hadn’t posted any photos of Baxter and I’m sure he’s jealous of all the other dogs on my blog! He’s the “child” of the house since my husband and I don’t have any kids and he sure does rule the house. Here’s a few images I’ve captured of him since I returned from the Unleashed | fine art pet photography workshop. I can’t decide which I like more – the photographs from inside the house or the ones from our little trip to North Bank Park the other weekend. Let me know which ones you like the best, since I’m the dog mom, of course I love them all.

If you saw my earlier post, you know how thrilled I was after Katie’s session. She totally rocked out her senior photos! Saturday was pretty windy, but it made for some very cool images. We started her session at North Bank Park and then headed over to the Arena District for the second half. There was tons of hustle and bustle downtown since the Blue Jacket’s opening game was that evening. Katie had great clothing choices and some super fun accessories as well – I loved that she even brought along a hat! We had a great session and I’m really glad that Katie picked me to do her senior photos!
