Family Portraits at Blacklick Woods in Columbus

Yes, I still photograph people! There has been an abundance of pet portraits on the blog and Facebook lately that I think folks were starting to wonder if I offer people portraits anymore. I was thrilled when Toi contacted me about doing her family’s portraits. I have known Toi for a few years now, she is a fantastic massage therapist! I have had issues with my back and shoulders for a long time and she certainly has the magic touch to get me feeling better. We had a stellar afternoon for her family’s photographs at Blacklick Woods Metro Park on the East Side of Columbus. Toi was joined by her husband Nate and their two sons, Vincent and Zion for their portraits. We walked around a small area of the park and I was able to find some wonderful little spots to take both posed and more casual images of the family. She did a great job with coordinating their outfits without everyone looking identical. And I must say that Zion, the youngest, was a complete ham for the camera.
