About My Photography:

My focus is in portraits for children, high school seniors and pets. I do not have a traditional studio and photograph on-location in the Columbus area. I was a professional graphic designer for over 11 years. Halfway through my career, I returned to school to focus on my photography and in 2008, Danielle Neil Photography was born. Combining everything I’ve learned over the years as a designer, along with my photographic knowledge, I create distinct images with a modern feel for my clients.
About Me:

I love every dog I meet. I’m a tv junkie — dramas like House and Criminal Minds are my favorite, but I’m hooked on Celebreality shows too. I try to see the Dave Matthews Band every year, even if I have to travel out of state. My dream house would be straight out of Ikea and West Elm. I make weekly trips to Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams and always walk out with the signature Dark Chocolate. My closet looks like an Ann Taylor Loft catalog and if I could, I would wear jeans 365 days a year. Living in Columbus has turned me into a die hard Ohio State Buckeye fan, but my favorite professional football team resides in the state next door, the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Old Man Gunny {Columbus Ohio Pet Photographer}

A few weekends ago I stopped over to visit Gunny and his family. When I decided to start doing pet photography I knew this beautiful Golden Retriever would be one of my first models. When Gunny’s family used to go on vacation I would get the opportunity to watch him. Now, I have my own dog to keep up with, so I no longer get the chance to spend a week at a time with him. As for our session, I think this 12-year-old was more interested in taking a nap rather than getting his photos taken. These are just a few of my favorites from our session.
