Community Involvement

One of the most rewarding aspects of Danielle’s photography career is the opportunity to share her talent within the community. A few of the current organizations she is involved with are highlighted below, along with links to the organizations. Danielle Neil Photography donates time and services to various non-profit organizations in the Columbus and Central Ohio region. If your not-for-profit or animal rescue is in need of a volunteer photographer, please contact her for more details using the contact form or by emailing info@danielleneil.com.

Some of the groups that Danielle is currently involved with include:

HeARTs Speak

HeArtsSpeak works to unite the efforts of artist and animal rescues into a collective action for social change. They help to connect artists with groups to create better photos of animals up for adoption to find their fur-ever homes. By improving pet adoptability, they work to reduce the number of animals euthanized each year. Their database features international artists from North America to the United Kingdom and beyond.

CHA Animal Shelter

CHA is a northeast Columbus animal shelter that has been serving the community since 1975. Their mission is to provide shelter and care for homeless cats and dogs and to reduce pet overpopulation by means of spay and neuter, education and community outreach.

Images for a Cure

Images for a Cure was started in 2009. This annual event promotes breast cancer research. Every October, photographers select a day to participate by donating their time, talent and session fees to help in raising funds. Participants include photographers from across the globe and have helped to raise over $28,000 to date.

Pets Without Parents

Pets Without Parents is a no-kill, nonprofit shelter for dogs and cats located in Clintonville. Founded in June of 2001, their mission is to place every pet that enters their shelter into a loving, permanent home. PWP serves all dogs and cats, regardless of breed, in the Columbus area.
