An Essential Dog Photo Session at Blendon Woods in Westerville

Essential Photography Sessions are perfect for dog owners who have been thinking about having their furbaby photographed and who want to try out Danielle Neil Photography. It is also great for updated photographs if it is has been a while since you last had professional portraits taken of your dog. These sessions also make the perfect gift! Essential Sessions are limited to one pet at a time and are just 30 minutes long.

With a name like Tank, I had no clue what I was in for! On a lovely spring evening, I finally was able to meet Tank and his owner, Steve, for his own Essential Session at Blendon Woods in Westerville. This was the first time I had been to this park for a portrait session. I stopped there about a week before to check out the location that Steve had suggested. I found a great little area that I knew would be perfect for Tank’s photos.

Tank is such a sweet 11-year-old rescue mix. I was thrilled when I found out that he was rescued from Pets Without Parents when he was just a little guy, many years ago. This session is part of a project I am working on for Noah’s Too Pet Resort in Gahanna as part of a photography display in their lobby. I must say, Tank was one of the most well-behaved dogs I have photographed to date! He was able to be off-leash and listened so well to Steve and myself. This session was a breeze with an extremely well behaved dog!

Below are some of my favorites from the session. I am still deciding which image I plan on using of this beautiful dog for part of the display, since they all look wonderful! Thank you Steve for taking the time to bring Tank out for his big modeling session!
