Yes, I do still photograph children! I know, there aren’t very many family or kids portraits posted on the blog lately, with the boom in high school Senior portraits. When Lisa contacted me about photographing her three children, I was over the moon when she asked if I could do the photos at the Lake Club in Poland, Ohio. My husband works at the club and ever since he started, I have been patiently waiting for a session there.

Giavanna was first for some individual portraits since she had just had her second birthday. We mixed the session into kids portraits and a few of her birthday photos. Before the little one even got out of the car, I heard her yelling “HI!” to me from her car seat. She was a hoot with all her faces and actions. And once she spotted the chapstick her mother had, it was going to stay in her hand for every single photo.

Christopher and Francesca were patiently waiting their turn for photos while I worked with their little sister. I was able to get some great images of all of the kids individually and together. We even were driven around in a golf cart to go from location to location. That definitely kept the kids happy between photos.

We had a great Fall evening for the photos and I am so thrilled with the results. Cute kids, stunning location and fantastic weather all rolled into one, equals a wonderful Fall photo session! Thanks so much to Lisa for choosing me to photograph the little ones, it was a great time!
