Sibling Love: Kids Holiday Photos In Westerville

I have been dying to blog these photographs since the moment I got back to my computer after the session. If you are a regular follower of the blog, you may remember these two not so little ones. Every year when I post Gabe and Emerson’s photography session I say the same thing. I feel really old! I used to work with their mom when they were just babies and have been close with their family ever since. But even looking back at last year’s session, wow, these two have really changed over the past year. Emerson is now 13 (going on 30) and Gabe is 11. They both look like they should be in high school.

Mom and I decided to mix it up this time and instead of a traditional park backdrop, we went with an urban look for the kids’ holiday photographs. After many texts back and forth, we decided that Uptown Westerville would be a great location, especially since mom is an Otterbein graduate and the area is her old stomping grounds.

These two kids have become pro’s in front of the camera. They have had enough practice, since they were often my models while I was in school for photography. It was one of our quickest sessions so far,  with multiple backdrops and a bit of walking included. When I was wrapping up the session, one of them asked if we were done already. It had been over an hour at that point, roaming through Uptown Westerville. With that comment, I am guessing they had a good time and it was not a painful  experience for them to hang out with mom and her friend.

I could post every single image from their portrait session, but that may be overload for the blog. Here are just some of these two beautiful kids. Definitely two heartbreakers in the making, mom and dad should watch out as they get better and better looking every year!
