Urban Senior Photos In East Palestine, Ohio {Class of 2015 Photography}

I love when high school senior guys actually have a good time at their senior photo session. Unlike the girls I photograph, the guys really are just doing it because mom wants them to. Since Ricky is one of my Class of 2015 Models, he had the opportunity for two sessions, we had the first at the Boardman studio in April and then this one, on location in East Palestine.

Poor Ricky, I am not sure if he knew what he was getting himself into when we planned his full senior portrait session. A family member has a piece of property with an old barn and old, rusty crane equipment. It is a photographer’s wonderland of texture and color. I have been eyeing this spot for years for an urban senior photo session. Everyone probably thought I was nuts wanting to do Ricky’s photos there. He was a good sport and we spent half of his session at the “junk yard” and the other half in downtown East Palestine.

Ricky’s mom, Carrie, is thrilled that they have one of the many things for his senior year crossed off the list. This last year of high school has so many activities, along with Ricky’s crazy baseball schedule, that they now have one less thing to worry about.

We had a great time during his session. Ricky was so relaxed and had great natural expressions. I told him to give me a little smile for the ladies and he gave me a wink instead. Can you say future heart breaker when he’s in college? Here are a few of my favorites. He did so well that it was hard to narrow it down to a few for the blog.
