We had a very full two days at the studio a few weeks ago. All of the dogs that were selected for the Friends of Fido MCDP Calendar contest came in for their mini sessions. There were a lot of doggie kisses, slobber and playing in those two days. I wanted to share one photograph of each of these cuties with my readers.

The calendars will be going on sale in October of this year. I’ll be posting more information on Facebook once they are available. They can be purchased online or at various Friends of Fido events around Mahoning County. All proceeds from the calendar will help support Friends of Fido.

Some of the things that Friends of Fido does to help the Mahoning County Dog Pound Dogs …

• Walk and socialize the dogs — 365 days a year!
• Financial support for spay/neuter, DHLLP, heartworm test, rabies, bordatella for dogs placed into rescues.
• Cover the cost of heartworm treatment for dogs.
• Pay pull fees, so dogs can go to rescues.
• Fund medical bills for dogs that go to the vet when they are sick.
• Assist local rescues that pull dogs from the Pound.
• Purchase gas cards and assist transporting dogs to their forever homes or rescues.
• Pay for boarding while the dogs wait for transport.
