Michael’s First Communion Photos { Boardman Ohio Photographer }

It is that time of year already! The weather is (slowly) getting nicer, the plants are beginning to bloom and the First Communion Photo sessions have started. I always look forward to this time of year and know that warm weather is around the corner in Ohio when I start booking First Communion photos.

There is still time to book your child’s First Communion portrait session in time for the big event!

This is a great age for portraits and a once in a lifetime event deserves an equally important photo session. Michael and his mom, Michele, came to the Boardman studio for his photos. Michael was how most boys are at this age, not really into the photo session. But after giving him a few minutes to warm up, he was ready to go in front of the camera. Michele was sure to book her son’s session early so that they could have portraits on display at his upcoming
party.

When the family came to the ordering appointment, they definitely wanted Michael’s input on which photos he liked and which image they were going to select for a wall portrait. Michele said that since it was going to be hanging on the wall for years, everyone needed to agree on which image they would all be looking at. I love that Michael was able to help be part of the selection process!

Below are just a few of my favorites from the session.
