Gina had contacted me about photographing her dog, along with her brother’s dogs while she was in town near the holidays. Gina is originally from Boardman, but is currently living in Cleveland. We were able to find an opening in the schedule that worked for everyone to bring the dogs to the studio when she would be in town visiting her parents.

Gina’s mom came along to help corral the two dogs, Diego and Kira. Kira is a 5 year old lab mix. She was as sweet as could be. Poor girl was slightly overwhelmed by the new experience and it took her a long time to warm up to me and the camera. Diego, a Miniature Pinscher on the other hand was ready to pose for the camera when he walked in the door. It didn’t hurt that he was so very food motivated and knew that if he listened, he’d be handsomely rewarded! It worked out great because I would be photographing Diego and Kira would have an opportunity to check out the rest of the studio and take a break.
