2014 Cardinal Mooney High School Senior Portraits: Meet Sheila

Where did Summer go this year? It feels like just last week the kids got out of school and now they are already back to the grind! The Canfield Fair has come and gone, which means Fall is just around the corner.

Cardinal Mooney started back to school before most other schools in the area. When I had the opportunity to photograph Sheila a few weeks ago, she had already gone back to school in late August!

We had a fantastic session on the grounds of the Poland Library. It is such a fantastic location, it is no wonder why so many of the 2014 Seniors I’ve photographed this year decided to use it as their location. We had a perfect Summer day for her senior photos with beautiful blue skies and an ever so slight breeze.

Sheila is stunning. I couldn’t believe how tall she was when she stepped out of the car. The first thought in my head was that she could and should be a model! But after finding out about all of her after school activities, I am not sure she would be able to fit it in her schedule. She is a speech team officer, newspaper staff member, service club member and a volunteer at Beatitude House. That is enough to keep any senior busy!

Sheila’s mom and sister came along for her session. At one point I heard her sister commenting that Sheila should climb up a tree for her session. Shelia informed me she never has and never will climb a tree. A few minutes later I see her sister scaling a tree while I was photographing. Needless to say, it was not a typical senior portrait session with this group!

We had a great time and she rocked out her photos like a professional model. You can see that for yourself in some of my favorite images below.
