Pit Bull Portraits { Northeast Ohio Dog Photographer }

Life+Dog Magazine had contacted me in late December about photographing a recent contest winner for them.  Warrior was one of the winners of the “Make Your Dog A Star” contest from Life+Dog and Lucky Pet Products by Holly Madison.

Warrior is a star in her own right! This beautiful 1 1/2 year old Pit Bull has her own Facebook page with over 3,000 fans! And with such an adorable face, no wonder people like keeping up with her and her comings and goings.

Warrior was the first subject at the new Boardman photo studio for her winning photo session. It had been crunch time getting the studio ready, knowing I had a special session coming up. I am going to be honest, the place was a complete train wreck till the day before her photos. But luckily, I buckled down, got everything put away, cleaned up and we were ready to go just in time for her
photos.

When Warrior arrived, she wanted to check the place out. So many new smells, strange photography objects she has never seen and this random new person with a big, black box around her neck. This dog had zero interest in sitting on any of my dog couches or chairs for her photos. She was full steam ahead and sitting was not part of her game plan that day!  No worries, I was still able to create some cute images of her, no matter that she kept trying to run off the set!

We had a super fun session. I am glad that I had the opportunity to photograph this beautiful Pit Bull for Life+Dog and I cannot wait to see which images from the session they use.
