First Communion Portraits { Austintown Photographer }

Abbigail’s mom, Tammy, has been planning these portraits since last year. When I was still living in Columbus, she called to make sure I would be coming to the Youngstown area at some point in the Spring for First Communion photos. Needless to say, we did not have to schedule a travel date since I have moved back to the Boardman area.

Our first scheduled session had to be postponed due to our lovely Winter weather that continued into the Spring this year. Since the weather still was not cooperating and there were no blooms on the trees for the backup date, we decided to move the session into the studio.

We started out the session capturing some images at St. Joseph’s Church in Austintown. We were under a time crunch at the church, with a short window of time before Mass started. After some portraits there, we headed out to the studio.

Abbigail had a great time at her photo session and she was fantastic in front of the camera. I have known her since she was born and it has been fun watching her grow up and celebrating special moments in her life, like this one.

Abbigail’s photographs were taken a few weeks before her First Communion. Tammy wanted to have a beautiful wall portrait displayed at the party on the day of the event. I love the image that they are using as the large display and cannot wait to see it at the party.

Here are just a few of the photographs I captured of her at the church and the studio.
