Alaya • Lowellville High School • Class Of 2017 Senior Portraits

Tiffany called me about scheduling her daughter, Alaya’s senior portraits. Tiffany and I chatted on the phone for a bit and really hit it off. We got along really well and I knew that Alaya’s session would be great just from the phone call. Alaya is a Class of 2017 senior at Lowellville High School. And if I’m correct, she is the first Lowellville senior I’ve photographed!

Alaya wanted both indoor and outdoor photographs. We split her session between the Boardman studio and Boardman Park. She was really looking forward to the Fall colors for her photos. There were some small chunks of color that we found while walking through the park, but the leaves had not completely changed just yet. Her outfit for the outdoor photos was perfect, jeans with a top and scarf. I love when clients accessorize for their senior portraits, it really helps pull the outfit together.

After the park we went to the studio for her other two outfits and her indoor portraits. Alaya did great and her mom was adorable, running over to fix stray hairs, straighten her top, you name it. It was like she had her own personal stylist on set!

I had posted a teaser photo on Instagram for Alaya and later that day I received the sweetest little email from Tiffany. It said “OK, I’m basically in tears at my desk! Beautiful! Can’t wait to see the rest!” I LOVE when my clients are that excited from one image. I’m so happy that they chose me to be Alaya’s senior photographer. Here are just a few of my favorite images from her senior portrait session!
