Dog Christmas Portraits { Ohio Dog Photography }

It is that time of year again, time for Gunnie’s holiday photographs. If you follow the blog, you know that Gunnie the Westie belongs to my mom and it has become a yearly tradition to have him on her Christmas cards. Now that I am back in Youngstown, it makes the planning of his portrait session much easier then when I was living in Columbus.

I swear, we spend more time planning her dog’s yearly photos than I do on my own dogs. Between location scouting and picking out a new sweater for him, you would think that he was my mother’s only child.

Gunnie’s photos started at Boardman Park and we also stopped at the MetroParks Farm located in Canfield. I had previously been to the Farm for a First Communion party at the rental facility and knew from the moment I pulled up, it is an amazing area for portrait sessions.

Some of my favorite images are of Gunnie near the corn at the Farm. We were lucky enough to have a mix of bright blue skies and clouds that day and the landscape there is amazing.

One of my favorites of Gunnie from the day. The Farm is such a fantastic location for portraits!
