Dog & People Photos Featuring Jack The Labradoodle In Westerville

I have known Jack the dog and his people, Pat and Becky, for years. Pat was in our wedding and have continued to be good friends of ours. While at a party for the first Ohio State Football game this year, they mentioned that they were interested in having the dog’s photo taken and also having a few family photographs with him. With a little bit of planning, we found a date in October that worked with everyone’s schedules. There was a bit of planning involved since they had a drive to Columbus from Fairborn, Ohio.

Not even 20 minutes before their photo session in Westerville, it started sprinkling. Since the family had made the drive, I was going to make this session happen, even with the rain. We were lucky that the location had a few covered pavilions, we could hide undercover when the rain was heavy. Good thing I had George come along for the session because at one point, he was carrying an umbrella over my camera.

Their handsome Labradoodle is the sweetest dog.  The weather did not faze Jack at all for his photos and he was happy to be out playing around in the park. This dog LOVES to play fetch so he had a great time chasing whatever we threw his way. He was always happy to return the item so that someone would throw it again for him. His owners had told me that he will continue to fetch until he collapses from exhaustion! Whenever we would have a break in the weather, we stopped the game of fetch and I assembled the family for some lovely Fall photos of them all together.

I am so glad Pat, Becky and Jack made the drive to Westerville for their photo session in the rain!  Here are some of my favorite photographs of the dog and his people from our afternoon at the park.
