Best Of 2016 Year In Review • The Best Of 2017 Senior Photos

I can’t believe another year has come and gone! 2016 was a crazy year for me personally and professionally. With the birth of my daughter, my work schedule and adjusting to life with a newborn put a hold on my business at the beginning of the year. But, my Class of 2017 senior were full force in the Fall! I loved all of the clients I did senior photos for, but here are just a few of my absolute favorite images from the past year!

Jessica was one of my Class of 2017 models from Poland Seminary High School. She has her own style and an amazing outgoing personality. We had to reschedule her full session a few times due to the insane heat and humidity of the Summer. But once we finally got her photo shoot in at the B&O Station in Youngstown, she nailed it!

Claire was a Class of 2017 model from Poland Seminary High School, as well. Claire was one of the first kids I photographed back in 2008 when I started Danielle Neil Photography! It was so wonderful to have the opportunity to photograph her as a child and then be able to do her senior photos. I’m pretty sure Claire was laughing at her parents during this shot. It’s such a carefree and fun image, just like her.

Eli is from South Range High School and is a Class of 2017 senior. We went to Fellows Riverside Gardens at Mill Creek Park for his senior photos. It was just beautiful at the park in late Summer/early Fall. The Fall colors were just starting to come out in the Gardens adding a little bit of pop to the green areas. Eli was a good sport about his photo session. Most guys are doing their photos for the yearbook and to make mom happy. He did a fantastic job!!

Anita was another of my Class of 2017 models from Canfield High School. I had the privilege of photographing her older sister in 2014 and I’m always thrilled when the younger siblings come in for their senior portraits. My models met me at Yellow Creek Park in Struthers to show off their gorgeous prom dresses for a mini shoot. Anita’s black and white dress was perfect for the setting in the park, with all of the foliage.

Emily is a Class of 2017 Senior from Poland Seminary High School. There were so many beautiful images from her session, it was so hard to narrow it down to just one to show today. I love this laid back portrait of Emily walking though Fellow Riverside Gardens at Mill Creek Park. Not posed, not forced, just perfectly her.

Lauryn is from Austintown Fitch High School and was also a Class of 2017 model. As a model, she had both an indoor and outdoor session. One of my favorite images was from her studio shoot. Mom and Lauryn loved it too because they purchased this image as a large canvas. I was so happy they picked this picture to display in their home.

Fall, it has to be the best time of year to photograph in Northeast Ohio! Alaya, a Class Of 2017 Senior from Lowellville High School was photographed  on the most beautiful day. The trees were just starting to pop with color at Boardman Park. Avaya had a great outdoor outfit and the scarf was a perfect finishing touch to the Fall senior photos. Not only is Alaya beautiful, she’s got confidence to boot.

I’m so lucky to have worked with so many amazing seniors in 2016. It was hard to narrow it down to just these few senior photos. I cannot wait to see what 2017 brings, along with the Class of 2018 seniors coming up!
